After relocating Upstate, I was eager to seek out an opportunity to try a new craft. Clay was something I loved as a kid but hadn't had a chance to explore much as an adult. I started at a small makers co-op in Ballston Spa, and couldn't get enough! I slowly built out a basement home studio and UNDERGROUND CLAY came to life.

When not covered in clay, I'm hanging with my family. I can often be seen running after 2 small kids and our puppy, Willy Wonka.

Pottery is starting with nothing... It's taking a hunk of mud and coaxing it to evolve into a functional object - one that makes art something to hold and use. I love working with people to take what's in their heads and get it into their hands!
